News February 5, 2007 - v2.4 Build 14 This version introduces the support for BrightStor tape copy jobs, BrightStor v11.5 jobs including Data Migration jobs. This version also introduces the database revision number to the ArcLog database which accomodates the reinstallation of the backup software or database initialization of the backup software database--job logs may begin generating with repeat job log numbers, but ArcLog will associate existing jobs with a particular database revision number, allowing you to import repeat job log numbers. This version expands your control over your data by introducing the Custom Report Writer. The Custom Report Writer allows you to view and output the ArcLog data your way. Feedback received from Beta Test customers indicates that ArcLog Distiller Enterprise saves a lot of time. Backup management has gone from hours to minutes in some cases. We thank our Beta testers for their valuable input. Many new features and improvements were incorporated into the final release as a result of the Beta program.
